TERMS & CONDITIONS – STUDIO & EVENTS

By entering the studio, making a reservation, or participating in any activity, you (“Guest”) agree to the following:

 


Acceptance of Terms

Guests agree to comply with all posted policies, staff instructions, and these Terms. Policies are subject to change without notice.


 

Capacity & Seating

  • All attendees count toward capacity, including painters and non-painters (parents, children, observers)
  • Standard reservations: max 6 guests
  • Mini parties: max 16 guests
  • Private events: max 40 guests
  • Exceptions may be granted with prior written studio manager approval
  • Seating for non-painters is not guaranteed
  • Groups over 6 may be seated separately based on availability

Painters, Non-Painters & Studio Fee

  • Any participation in painting (including assisting, helping or share painting a single ceramic piece) qualifies as a painter
  • All painters are subject to a $12 studio fee
  • Non-painters still count toward capacity
  • This policy is applied consistently to avoid misunderstandings

Party Bookings

  • $100 non-refundable deposit required
  • Party fee ($300 Mini Party, $600 Private Party) includes up to 2 hours of studio time; ceramics priced separately
  • Additional time: $50 per 30 minutes, subject to availability
  • Final guest count must be confirmed in advance

Over-Capacity & Additional Guests

  • Additional guests are not permitted without prior approval
  • If approved: $40 per guest (does not include ceramics)
  • The Studio reserves the right to deny entry to excess guests

Studio Use & Conduct

  • No food, cake, balloons, or decorations without a paid party package
  • Guests must follow all safety guidelines and staff instructions
  • Running, climbing, or misuse of equipment is not permitted
  • Parents/guardians must supervise children at all times
  • The Studio may refuse service or require Guests to leave for policy violations or safety concerns

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at time of visit or booking
  • No payment accepted at pickup
  • Items will not be glazed or fired until fully paid
  • Accepted: cash and major credit cards
  • No personal checks
  • Promotions and discounts cannot be combined
  • Only promotions issued by this studio location are valid

Sales, Refunds & Exchanges

  • All sales are final
  • Exceptions may be made for verified defects at the Studio’s discretion

Pottery Pickup

  • Items are ready in 7 days after painting (after 3 PM)
  • The Studio does not provide pickup reminders
  • The Studio does not call, email or text for pickups
  • Items must be picked up within 30 days of the paint date
  • Unclaimed items past 30 days will be discarded or donated
  • No refunds, replacements, or store credit for unclaimed items

Rush Orders

  • $15 per item
  • Ready within 72 hours (3 days) from time of payment printed on your receipt

Unfinished Projects

  • Unfinished items must be taken home the same day
  • The Studio does not stay past closing hours
  • The Studio does not store unfinished projects
  • Return visits require a $12 studio fee per single visit

Alcohol Policy

  • No BYOB permitted
  • Exceptions require a licensed and insured third-party vendor with prior written studio manager approval

Children & Supervision

  • A child age 13 or younger must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (18+) at all times. Drop-off of children without parent or adult supervision is not permitted.
  • The Studio is not responsible for unattended minors
  • Drop-off events require a signed waiver

Personal Property

  • The Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items
  • Guests must keep personal belongings with them at all times

Parking

  • Parking validation may be offered as a courtesy where applicable
  • Guests must request validation before leaving
  • The Studio is not responsible for parking fees, citations, or third-party parking operations

Ceramic Transfers

  • Proof of purchase is required for transfers from another Color Me Mine location
  • Customers must obtain receipts from the original studio
  • Glazing and firing fees may apply
  • Ceramics from outside Color Me Mine locations are not accepted due to safety requirements

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By completing a transaction, Guest agrees:

  • Not to initiate a chargeback for services rendered or items received
  • That all Studio policies (including no refunds and pickup terms) apply

The Studio may contest disputes using transaction records and policy acknowledgments.



Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Studio is not liable for injury, loss, or damage except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

The Studio is not responsible for accidental damage, breakage, or defects that may occur during the glazing and firing process. Variations and minor imperfections are a normal part of the ceramic process.

Guests participate at their own risk. The Studio is not liable for damage to personal property, clothing, or personal items during their visit.

The Studio is not responsible for third-party services, including parking facilities or outside vendors.

 



Non-Discrimination

The Studio is committed to providing an inclusive environment and applies all policies consistently. We do not discriminate on the basis of any protected characteristic under federal, state, or local law. 

 



Agreement

By visiting or participating in any activity, Guest confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
