FAQ

Do I need a reservation? Reservations are highly recommended. Walk-ins are welcome and will be seated on a first-come, first-served for available tables. There may be a waitlist for a table, but we will happily add you to the waitlist and let you know ASAP when your table is ready.

What is reservation deposit? A $10 reservation deposit will secure your table and will be applied to your final bill at checkout. Please note that this deposit does not cover the studio fee or the cost of the pottery.

I’ve never painted pottery before. Do I need experience? No experience necessary! We have lots of tools, tips, and tricks to help you with the process.

Is there an age limit? No. Anyone, any age, can paint with us! Little ones may paint quickly, but if you don’t mind them enjoying the experience, we are ready for them. Our paints are non-toxic and lead-free. Perfect for hands and footprints!

How much does it cost? Studio Fees are $10 per person painter, ceramic pieces start around $18 and go up based on size. In addition, a 15% service fee will apply to groups of 8+ and must be paid under one transaction.

How long until my order is ready? Orders are ready to pick up in about 7 days. We do not call. We will hold pieces for 30 days beyond the pick-up date.

Can I have my party here? Absolutely! Call or email for availability and pricing at (818) 784-0400 encino@colormemine.com

Can I paint at home? Definitely! You can order a TO-GO kit and shop for pieces and colors at the store, and we can pack up a to-go kit for you to take home.

Can I use paint that’s not from Color Me Mine? ABSOLUTE NO. Anything that is not CMM paint will either 1) burn off and leave a blank spot when your ceramic is fired and/or 2) destroy the finish of your item when it’s fired. So please only use the paints provided.
